Bob Stovash was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Stovash graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Mr. Stovash received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1988 from Wake Forest University School of Law, and received the Order of the Barristers Award for excellence in courtroom advocacy. Mr. Stovash became a member of The Florida Bar in 1988, and was a shareholder at the Orlando firm of Boroughs, Bennett, Morlan & Simpson, P.A., from 1993 to 1996. From 1996 until 2002, Mr. Stovash was the managing shareholder of Morlan & Stovash, P.A. In January of 2003, Mr. Stovash, along with Mr. Case and Ms. Tingley, formed the law firm of Stovash, Case & Tingley, P.A. Mr. Stovash has acted as counsel statewide for individual and corporate clients in the areas of general banking law, mortgage foreclosure litigation, business/corporate litigation, securities fraud, governmental relations, employment law, construction and lien law, commercial landlord/tenant law, and creditors' rights law. Mr. Stovash regularly appears before state and federal trial and appellate courts in Florida, and before mediation and arbitration panels throughout Florida. Mr. Stovash is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Middle District and Southern District of Florida. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Stovash is rated AV*, the highest rating achievable for legal ability and ethics by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, which is the facilitator of the peer review process that rates attorneys. The Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory ratings reflect the confidential opinions of members of the Bar and the Judiciary. * Mr. Stovash has served The Florida Bar as a Chairman of the Bridge-The-Gap seminar, and as a member of the Business Law and Trial Lawyers Sections. Mr. Stovash has represented dependent and abused children through the Orange County Legal Aid Society's Guardian Ad Litem Program. Mr. Stovash is active in community and civic affairs. Currently, Mr. Stovash serves on the Planning and Zoning Commission for Orange County, Florida, the School Board and Beacon Foundation of Pine Castle Christian Academy, and the Orlando Light Rail Southern Alignment Task Force. Mr. Stovash is a past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Small Business Chamber of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce and a past President of the Board of Directors of Michelee Puppets, Inc., an Orlando-based not-for-profit corporation. He has also served on the Board of Governors of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Leadership Council of myregion.org - A Regional Development Program, the Board of Directors for the Foundation for Building Community, Inc., and the Board of Directors of BusinessForce, Inc. Mr. Stovash is also a graduate of Leadership Orlando. In 1999, Mr. Stovash was selected as a 40 Under 40 Award recipient by the Orlando Business Journal.
