Scott Hudson was raised in Pahokee, Florida. Mr. Hudson received his Bachelor's degree in Management in 1990 from Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee. Mr. Hudson received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida. Prior to becoming a member of The Florida Bar, Mr. Hudson spent 17 years as a human resources and labor relations consultant. Most recently, Mr. Hudson served as President and Chief Executive Officer of a national human resources consulting firm headquartered in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Hudson represented employers in hundreds of cases before the United States Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, and before other federal, state and local regulatory agencies. Mr. Hudson also assisted employers in complying with state and federal employment regulations and developing employee compensation programs, employee handbooks and policy manuals, affirmative action plans, and employee opinion surveys. In 2004, Mr. Hudson joined Stovash, Case & Tingley, P.A., as Of Counsel. Mr. Hudson currently practices in the areas of labor and employment law. He provides clients with practical solutions to the complex labor and employment law challenges facing employers in today's ever changing labor markets. This legal advice enables employers to run a profitable, productive business while complying with the laws that govern nearly all phases of the employment relationship. Mr. Hudson represents clients before various federal, state and local regulatory agencies. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Hudson owns Sarjeant & Sarjeant, an affirmative action and equal employment opportunity consulting firm headquartered in Orlando. Mr. Hudson is a frequent speaker at state and national labor and employment conferences and development workshops throughout the United States. Mr. Hudson has recently offered his insight and analysis on various labor and employment topics at seminars sponsored by the Florida Bankers Association, Lorman Education Services, America's Community Bankers, the Kentucky Bankers Association, the New Jersey Bankers Association, the Ohio Bankers Association, and the National Automobile Dealers Association. Mr. Hudson is a member of the Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, the Labor and Employment Section the American Bar Association, and the Board of Directors of the Small Business Chamber of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Citrus Club in Orlando, Florida.
